The film tells about the riots in Los Angeles and a teacher who comes to teach one class. Later it turns out that this class is quite unmanageable. But the teacher believes that he can make the class good, and make them good. The film is a film adaptation of Erin Gruwell’s book, the ,,Diary of free writers,,. The film was interesting, you won’t get tired of watching.

Sometimes it is very difficult to find contact with students, but this does not mean that nothing can be done about it. And in a place where there is a lot of human crime or a lot of racism, it is even more difficult. In this case, the teacher must take responsibility for these children. Not everyone can tolerate it. Many do not believe in the one who dares to do this. But if a person is determined, this is no longer important. You need to delve into the world of these people in order to understand them. The main thing is not to lose your temper and not to break. Many probably think that it is impossible to live in such circumstances, but for many this is the norm. Instead of just yelling at the students, the teacher finds good ways to change the way these children approach. But first you need to have respect from the students. All the anger that has accumulated over the years among people, they want justice. Many do not want to see these children, is that right?

The film is very interesting and educational. It covers racial discrimination. The film tells the story of how an ordinary white teacher became the closest friend in her class. The teacher was able to unite the class. She went against all stereotypes and laws. She loved his class, lived with their problems, their worries, rejoiced in their achievements. She went against her own love. She had a husband who did not understand her because the she put her class above all else. At first, everyone hated each other in the classroom. But later they became close. The teacher did not hinder any obstacles to achieve her dream. Despite the difficulties, she won.

She is the best image of a teacher…

In 1994 in Long Beach, California, Erin Gruwell has been accepted to teach English for at-risk students at Woodrow Wilson High School. Erin struggles to form a connection with her students and observes numerous fights between some of them, who are in rival gangs.

At school, Erin examines a racist drawing by one of her Latin American students and utilizes it to teach the class about the Holocaust, which everyone, except for White student Ben Samuels, has no knowledge of. She gradually begins to earn their trust and buys composition books for them to use as diaries, in which they talk about their experiences of being evicted, being abused, and seeing their loved ones die.

Determined to reform her students, Erin takes on two part-time jobs to pay for more books and activities, and spends a lot more time at school, much to the disappointment of her husband, Scott. The students start to realize that being rivals against each other, just based on race, should not be a reason to prohibit their friendships with one another.

The following school year comes and Erin teaches her class again, making it the second year that she is their teacher. On the first day, Erin makes her class propose a “Toast for Change”, allowing everyone to open up about their struggles and what they wish to change about themselves. Later on, the class makes enough money to have Miep Gies come to the United States and tell her story of her helping Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Pels hide from the Nazis; she then also persuades the students that they are heroes and that they “within their own small ways, turn on a small light in a dark room.”

Meanwhile, Erin asks her students to write their diaries in book form. She compiles the entries and names it The Freedom Writers Diary. Her husband divorces her, since he feels like Erin is devoting too much of her time to her students and not enough time for their marriage. Margaret tells her she cannot teach her kids for their junior year. After being encouraged by her father, Erin fights this decision, eventually convincing the superintendent to permit her to teach her kids during their junior and senior years, much to their elation. The film ends with a note that Erin successfully prepared numerous high school students to graduate and attend college—for many, the first in their families to do so.

The main idea of this film is that the teacher’s approach can have a significant impact on the students. And we can imagine ourselves in such cases․The ending of the film showed the results of Mrs. Gruwell’s sufferings. 

At first the teacher was timid. It was because she was afraid of mistreating the children in any way. But from time to time, getting acquainted with everyone’s feelings and difficulties, she could find a solution. Its main purpose was to give hope to the children so that they would not be broken and depressed by the difficulties of life. 

Mrs. Gruwell was so dedicated to her work that even the lack of opportunities did not force her to back down. She devoted all his time and attention to school, and neglected her personal life. That is why all this led to divorce. But that did not discourage her either. 

One of the emotional lines of the film was Erin’s father’s support. At first, we see that the father was not so much in favor of Erin’s workplace, but he still supported his daughter. In addition to helping her children move around and arrange meetings, he supported her after divorce and didn’t let her give up everything. 

Mrs. Gruwell had faith on her students that no matter what is your social position, or education or where you grew up, what matter is you maintain respect and love and faith in those in need. She finally grew a tough skin and took charge instead of letting them walk all over her, which is how she succeeded in getting their attention. Once she got them to focus on what really mattered and to understand that each clique had some common ground, they hit the ground running and the rest was history. She successfully turned the classroom into a family. 

Her optimism and perseverance change the relationship with students from discriminate to mutual respect. 

After sharing their stories with one another, the students see their shared experience for the first time and open up to the idea that there are possibilities in life outside of making it to the age of eighteen. A teacher plays a key role in developing a student ‘s character.

The main idea of the film is racism. They show us the story of each in a very influential way. I do hope there are few places in the modern world where people with dark skin can be treated like that. Every person, regardless of skin color, can be kind-hearted or malicious, smart or dumb, educated or not.

Through books, meetings, personal diaries, she showed they are not alone, that many have been subjected to such treatment by the society. It made them look at their lives from an unfamiliar perspective and change their attitude towards many issues.

Արդյունքը

Այսօր հունվարի քսանչորսին տեղի ունեցավ անգլերենի ակումբի երկրորդ հանդիպումը։ Ակումբի մասնակիցները սիրով և մոտիվացված են հաճախում ակումբի հանդիպումներին։ Ակումբի ընթացքում դիտում ենք անգլերենի բանավոր քննությունների տեսագրրություններ տարբեր թեմաների վերաբերյալ, ուսումնասիրում թեման և փորձում ինքնուրույն պատասխանել տեսագրությունում հնչող հարցերին և ծավալել քննարկում։

Ակումբի հանդիպումներն օգնում են սովորողներին ավելի ինքնավստահ լինել անգլերեն խոսելիս, ավելի վստահ արտահայտել իրենց մտքերն անգլերենով և չվախենալ խոսելուց, անգամ բանավիճելուց։ Լեզուն սովորելու ամենակարևոր հիմքերից է խոսելուց, արտահայտվելուց չվախենալը, սխալվելուց չվախենալը։ Տեսագրություններում նույնպես աակնհայտ է, որ քննողը հարգումէ այն մարդկանց, ովքեր քննություն են հանձնում, չի ընդհատում, չի խանգարում և թույլ է տալիս սխալվել։ Նոջյն սկզբունքը գործում է նաև ակումբում։

This movie broke and healed my heart in the best way possible.

I had this film in my watch list for a long time but couldn’t put myself together to watch it. I was thinking it would bore me (spoiler alert! I was wrong, it didn’t). So when Miss Arpy sent it I thought this is a great opportunity to finally see what’s this film is all about.

I loved Nail’s character because it was so real. He was so full of life, full of joy and dreams and sometimes other people make those precious and important things die inside of you. And most of the time it’s not a visible or physical death.

This film is a perfect definition of what exactly movies do. They overrate the reality: they make us believe that the world is beautiful, nothing is impossible and you can be everything you wish and you can do anything you want. And they motivate you so much that you believe that you’re free.. and than you face reality and break. Because ( hate to think like this) but the actual world is nothing like in the movies.

Overall I think this movie is a good one. It has a lot to tell and a lot to teach so I’m happy that I’ve got the chance to finally watch it.

It was very interesting movie. I watch this at second time. But at the first time I did so careless(невнимательной) and watched the movie in Russian language. But today i watch this movie again( in English of course). I can say that it was nobly. Guys at the film was so pretty and smart. the acting was crazy. I’m so good cause i can watch it in English ( with subtitles of course). This history was so strange, sometimes. Because they did a big and tragedy problem , when it was the little question. They just needed to talk to each other. And Nils die was stupidest act. He needed live,study and did what he loves. The only way he might prove( доказать) his father that is his life and his choice.

The teacher teaches his students in a non-standard way. He delivers his message in his own way. He is interested in himself. They are very involved in the process. Live emotions are shown here. There are a lot of clever words in the film, which is why I liked it.

To be honest, I wanted to watch this movie a long time ago and when miss Arpi offered to watch this movie, I realized that I could finally make myself watch it, because I was getting tired of watching movies recently. I love watching movies, very, very much, I can’t live without that. Watching movies motivates me, I want to start something new. Well, let’s talk a little bit about this movie. By the way, if you haven’t watched this movie yet, I wouldn’t recommend reading what I wrote, as it will be a spoiler.

I liked the film very much, the environment, the atmosphere, the characters, etc. The film tells us a lot. We can’t live our lives, we are always ruled, we are not free. Our parents love us, yes, I know, but who needs that kind of love? They always say «I was your age, then I grew up», but they still can’t understand us. They say they do it for us, that we teenagers don’t know what we need or want, then we will thank them.
We all have dreams, but the environment always prevents us from achieving our dreams. I see similarities in the Neil’s and my life. He loved acting and without theater he couldn’t live, acting gave him strength, his soul wanted it, but his parents were against him doing acting, they told him that school and lessons is important. Yes, I understand, that lessons are really important, but you could always find time to do what you love, you can combine.
I also want to be an actress. Unfortunately, my parents don’t let me do it.
In my opinion, our generation will be very good parents, we’ll understand our children and will support them.

The film was really good when the boys got together and spent time on poetry, I love that. I don’t like this kind of school, it’s like prison. I’m sorry that these talented guys were never able to be what they wanted.

Todd Anderson, Neil Perry, Knox Overstreet, Richard Cameron, Steven Meeks, Gerard Pitts, and Charlie Dalton are senior year students of high school at Welton Academy, an all-male, elite prep school in Vermont.

On the first day of classes, they are surprised by the unique teaching methods of the new English teacher, John Keating. Keating encourages his students to “make your lives extraordinary”.

Upon learning that Keating was a member of the unsanctioned Dead Poets Society while he was at Welton, Neil restarts the club and he and his friends sneak off campus to a cave where they read poetry and verse, including their own compositions. As the school year progresses, Keating’s lessons and their involvement with the club encourage them to live their lives on their own terms.

The film ended up with Neil’s death.

Surely, this was one of the most interesting films I watched recently. The plot above may not seem so interesting, but the film itself, has a deep meaning.

Let’s start with the fact that each character was an interesting individual who complemented the other characters in the film. The character of Mr. Keating was the deepest one. On the one hand, he seemed to be saying crazy things: starting from standing on his desk to ripping out the pages of their poetry books. But if you go deeper into his thoughts, you’ll see the truth in his words. He is telling about one of the most important things in life: we all must seize the day and do what our heart tells us.

And I think he was right. Unfortunately, we often forget about all that and stop living in the present. The meaning behind the movie, to think for yourself and embrace your individualism, is a very good meaning to teach to people everywhere.

However, I really liked the “society” formed by the boys. After all, it encouraged, motivated and brought joy to everyone.

The ending certainly left an impact on everyone. I agree with the fact the ending was beyond powerful. It was a moving moment the boys stood up for what they believed in, even when others might’ve thought it wrong.

The most significant theme of the movie is ‘carpe diem‘. It is the phrase that professor Keating uses in his first lecture. This phrase means’ seize the day’. The movie highlights the importance that you only live once and you should live on your own terms.

The film tells about 7 young people who study at the ,,Welton,, academy in the USA. The 4 main principles of this academy are: ,,tradition,, , ,,Honor,, , ,,discipline,, and ,,excellence,,.

On the first day, the students meet with the new teacher John Keating, whose teaching method is different. John Keating in his first lesson talks to students about death, which seems unusual to students. After that, the young people secretly open a literary club, the ,,Dead poets society,, , of which Keating was a member in the past. After the opening of the literary club, many events began that influenced the fate of the heroes. The film has won numerous awards.

I think the film has a somewhat terrible side to it, since the events in the film developed quickly.

Life is full of many good moments, but also many lessons that should be learnt whether it be by someone telling you or by you figuring things out for yourself. Professor Keating, in the film Dead Poets Society directed by Peter Weir, said many inspirational words which have shown how in order to get the best out of life, it’s yourself who has to be the one to accomplish your goals and not to go with the crowd, but to follow what you believe in no matter how hard it is to get there. When Professor Keating became the new English teacher for a strict boys boarding school which promotes realism, the class gets a shock when he comes in with his big ideas and new ways of teaching. Every lesson he teaches gives his class a new outlook on life and helps the students to ‘Carpe Diem’ (seize the day) which was what he wanted them to do every single day; that is, “make [their] lives extraordinary.» This concept of seizing the day made me reflect about how life is so short and you do have to seize each day so that you can make the most out of opportunities as they arise.

Երբևէ ցանկացե՞լ եք ավանդական շոտլանդական հարսանիք անել: Դա շատ ավելին է, քան պարզապես Քիլթ  կրելը: Ծանոթացե’ք հաջողություն բերող շոտլանդական առանձնահատուկ ծեսերին և ռոմանտիկ սովորույթներին, սկսած նրանցից, որոնք արդեն սովորական են դարձել հարսանիքների ժամանակ ամբողջ աշխարհում մինչև անհայտները, որոնք դեռ պահպանվում են Շոտլանդիայի փոքր գյուղերում: 

Բախտավոր լինելու սովորույթներ, որոնք ընդունված են ամբողջ Շոտլանդիայում 

Շոտլանդական հարսնացուն հարսանիքի ճանապարհին տանից դուրս գալիս առաջինը պետք է աջ ոտքով քայլ կատարի: 

Աբերդինշիրում և Անգուսում ավանդույթ է վեց պենսանոցը հարսնացուի կոշիկի մեջ պահելը։  

Հարսնացուի ծաղկեփնջի մեջ թաքցրած սպիտակ հավամրգի մի ճյուղը նույնպես  հաջողության նշան է: 

«Նետված մետաղադրամների համար երեխաների հարսանեկան խառնակռիվը» ավանդական է Շոտլանդիայի մեծ մասում: Երբ հարսը մնստում է ավտոմեքենան, նրա հայրը մի բուռ մետաղադրամ է նետում, որ երեխաները հավաքեն: Ենթադրվում է, որ այն բերում է ֆինանսական բարեկեցություն։ Այդ ավանդույթը նաև տեղի է ունենում Այրշիրում հարսանիքների ժամանակ։ 

Կարող է անհավանական թվալ, բայց ոտքերը լվանալը սովորույթ է, որը սկիզբ է առել Ֆայֆում և Դանդի  Անգուսում: Հարսը նստում է աթոռակին, իսկ մի տարեց, ամուսնացած կին լվանում և չորացնում է նրա  ոտքերը: Սակայն Ֆայֆում միայն մի քանի խիզախ փեսացուներ են կարողանում հավատարիմ մնալ այն ավանդական սովորույթին, որը ներառում է ջրով լցված տաշտի մեջ նստելը, մինչ յուղում են նրա ոտքերը և մոխիր ու մուր քսում:    

Հարսանեկան արարողություն և ընդունելություն 

Հարսանիքի մասնակիցներն ավանդաբար եկեղեցի են գնում պաշտոնական երթով: Փեսան քայլում է առջևից, որին հետևում են պարկապզուկ փչողը, հարսնաքույրը, իսկ հարնացուն գնում է խաչեղբոր հետևից: Արարողությունից հետո նորապսակները լքում են եկեղեցին: Բարի բախտն ապահովելու համար ավանդաբար հարսանեկան թափորը երկու անգամ անցնում է հոսող ջրի միջով:  

Ավանդական ընկերական իդեալական հարսանիքը հարկ է, որ մեկ պենի արժենա: Հյուրերն իրենց սնունդն ու խմիչքներն իրենց հետ են բերում՝ զույգին թողնելով  շռայլել միայն հարսանեկան տորթի վրա: 

Շոտլանդական քվեյչը կամ «Սիրո գավաթը» երկու բռնակով արծաթյա գավաթ է, որը հարսնացուն լցնում է վիսկիով, այնուհետև հերթով մոտենում է հարսանեկան խնջույքի բոլոր մասնակիցներին՝ դրանից մի կում անելու, երբ հարսանեկան արարողության պաշտոնական գործընթացն ավարտված է: 

Պարեր 

Lang Reel-ը ավանդական հարսանեկան պար է, որը պարում են Շոտլանդիայի հյուսիս-արևելքում գտնվող ձկնորսական համայնքներում: Գյուղացիները և հարսանիքի մասնակիցները սկսում են պարել նավահանգստից և շարունակվում են պարելով շարժվել գյուղի միջով։ Երբ պար բռնած մարդիկ մոտենում են իրենց տանը՝ նրանք թողնում են շղթան։ Սա շարունակվում է այնքան ժամանակ, մինչև մնում են միայն հարսն ու փեսան և պարում են իրենց վերջին պարը։ 

Ավանդական երթը հաճախ առաջին պարն է, որը տեղի է ունենում հարսանեկան ընդունելության ժամանակ: Այն սկսվում է նրանից, որ հարսն ու փեսան քայլում են պարկապզուկների կամ կենդանի նվագախմբի երրաժշտության ներքո: Այնուհետև միանում են հարսնաքույրը և խաչեղբայրը, որին հաջորդում են խնամիների երկու խումբը և մյուս հյուրերը։ 

Նվերներ 

«Հարսանեկան սարկը» փեսացուի  վերնաշապիկի  ավանդական անվանումն է, որը նվիրում է հարսը: Փեսան դրա դիմաց վճարում է հարսանյաց զգեստի համար։ 

Երջանիկ զույգին ավանդաբար ժամացույց է նվիրում խաչեղբայրը, իսկ հարսնաքույրը թեյի հավաքածու է նվիրում: 

Luckenbooth-ը բրոշ է, որը սիրահարներն իրար են նվիրում որպես սիրո նշան  

մի ջենթլմենի կողմից իր նշանածին: Դրանք սովորաբար պատրաստված են արծաթից և փորագրված են երկու սրտերով համակցված:
